Youtube: to v or not to v? (log)?

Question

I want to be popular on youtube and Vlogging seems such a good way, like an online diary, but whenevr i've tried it before i look realy stupid, and i never know what to talk about, any solutions?

I Vlog a lot, Talk about something you know about rather than nothing like if you like tech recommend or review stuff or even start a small community and ask them to send in Question's or there own reviews.

Use sites like Blogger/Wordpress to blog about what you talk about it means your fans can go somewhere without sound or on a phone and read what you want to say. Also don't only use one site use load's of websites like Veoh, YouTube, Blip.tv and seesmic is very good as well for other things related to vlogging.
