  1. It has it's advantages even though it is scary going to a school where you are now the youngest instead of the oldest.  In primary school you have one class and one teacher.  If you have a teacher you like than that si good but if you don't you are stuck with that one teacher for the whole year, everyday!  In high school you have many different teachers - you will get some you like and some you don't but you only have to spend a certain time with that teacher as you will have many classes in the day.  Also, in primary school you have the same class but in high school you have different classes with different students.  the good thing is that if you don't like some students you may not have to see them much unlike primary school where you would be stuck with them in your class every day.  Also, some schools, just to get year 7's used to the new place, classes and teachers will keep you with one class.  you still have to go around to different classrooms with different teachers but you have the same group of student with you in each class.  the good thing about that is if you make some friends in that class you get to go around with them to all the classes and you can help each other out.  And don't worry, you always hear that the older kids will pick on you but that is not true - they actually don't want to be seen with the little year 7's so you will most likely be left alone.

  2. Don't worry. Grade 6 is just like year 7 expect it's bigger and more "grown-up". I'm in year 9 now and i have enjoyed high school sooooo much. You WILL miss primary school but you ll soon get used to high school and enjoy learning new things and making new friends.

it's just like moving one level up. it's no big deal and good luck=]

  3. Oh boy... my first day they screwed up my classes, I waited forever in line at the office and the bell rang so I was late for the class I wasn't even sure I was supposed to be in. I cried like a baby for hours...

The good thing is though, I started to make a few friends, socialize, and I found that 7th grade is a lot nicer and full of more variety than 6th.

Don't sweat the small stuff and don't be afraid to chit chat a little between classes.

  4. lol DONT WORRY! High schools easy, espesh the first few days/weeks. They put u in suitable groups. Dont worry im yr 7 goin into yr 8. Its ace, you get  loads more resoonsibility than primary, its ace. Its like primary, yr 6 is no harder than yr 5 lol. yr 7s no harer than yr 6!!! Dont worry thats my top tip. Stay with your friends.

  8. You prob don't learn everything you're supposed to. But you'll be surprised how much you know and how fast you'll learn! If you're really willing to work and learn, then its not a problem! Just be confident and stay focused.

High school is amazing! remember to have FUN!
