I was wondering, does Banisher of the Radiance's effect apply to him too if he is destroyed in battle?:

[Banisher of the Radiance]

"While this card is face-up on your side of the field, any card sent to the Graveyard are removed from play instead."

  1. If ur asking if hes removed from play because of his effect, then no, he is sent to the graveyard. This is because he must be on the field for his effect to activate. Because he is no longer on the field, the effect would not work, and he goes straight to the graveyard!

    Hope I Helped =D

  2. No, his effect cancels out immediately after being destroyed or removed from the field.

  3. it's sent to the graveyard because when it's destroyed, its effect is no longer active since it's not on the field after it gets destroyed

  4. No because it says as long as he is on the field.
