Yu-Gi-Oh: Limited Edition/1st Edition cards?

Question

Ugh this has bee haunting me for a while now.

Is there a limit to how many Limited Edition or 1st Edition cards that you can have in your deck? I had heard somewhere that you are only allowed to have 1 Limited Edition card, but I don't know how true it is.

this is absolutly not true For a list on the limited cards go to the link below. But Limited Edition is basicaly just a Bonus card but First Edition is from the very first packs of a series.

It makes no difference whether the cards are 1st Edition, Limited Edition, Unlimited, etc.  You can have 3 of any card in your deck.

I think what you are talking about though is the Banned and Limited list.  You are confusing the term Limited with Limited Edition.  Limited Edition are basically the term used to describe promo cards.  When someone says that a particular card is Limited, then they mean you are only allowed one in a deck.  Cards like the Exodia pieces, Card Trooper, Brain Control, Smashing Ground, Gravity Bind, etc., are only one per deck.  Some cards like Cyber Dragon are Semi-limited, which means you are allowed 2 per deck.

limited edition is completely different from limited card...limited edition means that the card can only be purchased with something else such as a game based on YGO...which means that the card is rarer...........

U can find out wether a card is limited or not by looking at what is said under the picture of the card......1st edition 2nd edition 3rd edition is exactly the same as each other.,,,and ofcourse there is limited edition..........how ever there is something else known as a limited card........a limited card is a card that u may only have one COPY per deck or side deck....to find out wether a card is limited or u have to look into the official website....an example of a limited card is monster reborn for u can only have one monster reborn per deck.

NOTE: that a limited edition card can be a limited card.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: right nxt to limited u have forbidden and semi limited. You cannot have any forbidden card in a deck. U can have 2 semi limited COPIES of a card in a deck. and 1 limited COPY of a card. and obviously ofcourse upto 3 copies of any card u want due to the rules. to find out wether a card is forbidden, limited or semi limited look in to the official website.
