I' am really baffled by the card lore of a card that says, "you can equip 1 appropriate Equip Spell Card from your Graveyard to this card." what odes it really mean? Does it mean an Equip Spell Card exclusive to the monsters type or otherwise?

it just means if the equip card has a specific requirement you have to follow it. otherwise, ppl might construe that as a exploit to equip any monster with any equip card. like equipping lightning blade to anyone other than a warrior, which cant be done.

This means that, you may choose one equip spell in your graveyard, and if the requirments match them of your monster it may be equiped

e.g. if i have Crystal beast Sapphire Pegasus on my field, i am unable to equip it with "Fusion Sword Marasume Blade" as its not a warrior type, though  i can equip it with "crystal release" since its a Crystal Beast monster

It means under normal conditions you could equip the spell card. Two examples

One: I have snatch steal in my grave yard. It reads i must equip to my opponnets monster. So I cannot equip it with the effect

Two: I have Pheonix blade in my grave yard. I Can equip it if the monster is a warrior, otherwise i cannot.
