If I have a face-up "Batteryman Industrial Strength" and I use its effect to destroy my opponents face-down "Mask of Darkness" and "Sakuretsu Armor" can my opponent use "Mask of Darkness' " effect to retrieve the destroyed "Sakuretsu Amor"?

no. Mask of darkness is aa flip effect. it has to be flipped up. If it is destroyed by effect, and NOT flipped up, then no it's effect does not come into play. To get flipped up it needs to be either attacked, or if the effect says to flip and then destroy

Yeah, like the other guy said.  BIS destroys both cards, but never flips them.  In order for your opponent to get a Trap card, MoD would have to be flipped.
