  1. Actually it is destroyed and removed from play, but its effect resolves

    example:

-player A has a face down bottomless trap hole and a face up DD warrior lady

-player B normal summons snipe hunter

-player B wishes to retain priority and activates snipe hunter's effect, targeting dd warrior lady, being now chain link 1

-player A activates bottomless trap hole, becoming chain link 2

    The chain resolves like this:

-Bottomless trap hole's effect resolves,Snipe hunter is destroyed and removed from play

-Snipe hunter effect resolves, player B discards one card and rolls the dice,it's a 5 so dd warrior lady is destroyed

  2. The Above Answers are Wrong..... T_T The Explanation with the chain links was close but it had a small mistake with paying the cost part. Costs are paid at the time of Activation of the effect ant not at the time of Resolution of the effect..

    Here is the Situation:

Player A: Summons Snipe Hunter and activates its effect as he has Priority. He Discards a card at the time of Activation of the effect as discarding a card is the cost to activate its effect! and he does not get it back even if Snipe Hunter's Effect is Negated. Now Player A Target's 1 Card on the field. He can target any card(including Snipe Hunter itself) unless a card effect says that it cannot be targeted by any card effect....

Player B: Chains to the effect of Snipe Hunter with Bottomless Trap Hole( The Timing is still correct as a Monster was summoned Successfully)

Chain Link 1: Snipe Hunter's Effect and Targets 1 card on the field

Chain Link 2: Bottomless Trap Hole

Now Resolve Backwards as the highest chain link resolves first..

Bottomless Trap Hole Resolves first, destroying and removing Snipe Hunter and then Snipe Hunter's effect resolves, the dice is rolled and if the result is not 1 or 6, the targeted card is destroyed.

Note: Snipe Hunter does not need to remain Face-Up on the field at the time of Resolution of the effect.

  3. most monsters can call priority when summoned (explained above) ... i would suggest you look for the card and check the rulings at http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

    hope this helps

  4. Yes, It is called priority. Same thing if he summoned Judgment dragon, and you activate torrential, he can call priority and use its effect before you activate torrnential. In my source, scroll down to the very bottom and it gives you an example with exiled force and trap hole.

  5. yeah sure just like if i flip summon a man eater bug or something like that and u activate a torrential tribute its effect is activate cause the fact is its already flip sommon
