Yu-gi-oh: Can you flip summon the same more than once?

Can i flip a monster that has already been normal summoned face down in defense position, and flip him back faceup again, and call it a flip summon?

"IF" i can, how many times can i do it with the same monster?

  1. when you put a card face down it is not summoned it it set and you cant flip a set card in the same turn that it was set unless a card seas so

  5. No, you can't flip monster that is faced up faced down under you have a special card or effect (like the magic/spell card Darkness Approaches).

If it is already face-up on the field, then you can not flip it face-down unless it is with a card effect.  Some monsters like Golem Sentry or Stealth Bird have effects when you can use its effect to flip it face-down.  Certain other cards will allow you to do it as well like Book of Moon which will let you flip any monster to face-down defense position.
