Do you guys think that the six samurai series will get new cards? Why or why not? And if you already know, which cards will come out for six samurai?

  1. probably not, the GX saga is long over, and they've not seen real support in the last 3 sets, so i wouldnt get my hopes up (theyre not gladiators, after all)

however, we may see something later on in the 5d's series, i mean, we're still seeing new red-eyes supprt

@ max power, you did get DA and LS mixed up, or, with how much DAR builds have changed, you might as well call it them RaiDa builds now, lol

  2. To be honest, I haven't the slightest idea. I'm not to big on the Six Samurai. I'm more of a Dragon type. But, I'm really not sure. But, I'm going to say they might. I mean, Six Samurai is a popular set. Why wouldn't they?

  3. As above, maybe Crossroads of Chaos may launch a card or two, as The Duelist Genesis did to Frogs with Froggy ForceField. However, expect less as this build is getting old. It takes a Dark Armed Dragon or a Judgment Dragon to clear off all the Six Samurai on the field and proceed with a OTK.

What may happen is that every pack or two, they will release a small amount of support cards that aid you in maintaining your field, as their effects are only valid on your turn.

Therefore, it is time to put aside your deck until such cards are released, then you try them out to see if the efficiency is still there.

  4. Do be honest, probably not. They may get a common (possibly rare) support card here or there but nothing worth actually using in a deck.

The truth is that they are getting old. They were brilliant and still are, but they are just not really used that much anymore in competition play.

Look at Grandmaster for example, once secret, then super as the Sneak Preview card, know you can get him easily in the Gold Series. Over time they've just become easier and easier to make. since they are no longer as good as they were in comparison to the new metagame.

    1st Gladiator

    2nd Lightsworn (possibly 3rd)

    3rd DAD (possibly 2nd)

    ETC......

Anyway, like I said, they probably will see some new cards here and there, but anything worth using has already come out. Also I do not know what is coming out I'm just guessing that there will be some cards.

  5. i love six samurai but im sorry to say they are getting old and they're defintly dying out (which is upsetting) like max power said overtime they have just made them easier to get and they arent going to get new support .they are still just up to level with todays metagame but i think its changing fast look how quickly d.a.d went out of spotlight and gladiator beasts took in to the metagame when gyzarus, darius and e-hero prisma were released.

i reckon lightsworn will change the game until the duelist genisis is released, which synchro will take the spotilight.

overall six samurai have lasted this long and i unlike other sets all the cards for six samurai were strike of neos boosters and funny if they released another samurai they'd have to call it seven samurai

crossroads of chaos in the far future has new plant support then i think gigaplants gonna own they have an alternative to gladiator best heraklinos called

    camellia princess titanial (like heraklinos)

    botanity girl (like goblin zombie)

+ loads of plant monsters with awesome effects

    and a plant synchro

counter fairy are also starting to see more play with the sjc showing and frogs have potential thats why my friend is building one and they're cheap like gigaplant i can make an awesome gigaplant and frog deck for under $20-$40

    my gigaplant cost me $36

although you probably wont belive me arcana force ex-the dark ruler was actually bought out for six samurai not arcana force
