About this Suicide Rule Is It Fake Custom Or real Apparently It Says That

"If A Player Selects Another Face-up Monster On the Field With a Higher Atk Then Their Monster And Attack And The Players Monste rIs destroyed The effect Of that card Is Negated"

So For example If Player A Had Dark necrofear On the field And Player B Had Dark Magician On the field If Player A Were To attack Player B Player A Would Lose 300 Lp But Dark Necrofears Effect Would Not Activate.I'm Only Asking Becuase I dueled Someone Today Who Told Me About this Rule

  1. Thats probably one of Player B's "house rules". House rules are rules people make up to prevent other from doing annoying things or to "correct" unfair rules. Also, sometimes they're made by people who don't really know how to play very well.

Suiciding has no effect other than you losing life points. The only instance I can think of Dark Necrofear's effect being neutralized is if it attacked Dark Ruler Ha Des, who effect negates the effects of effect monsters it destroys. Please keep the rulebook handy to settle this sort of dispute. There are no basic gameplay rules that are not in the rulebook. The Rulebook webpage: http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/yugio...

  3. who knows

  4. First off, you need to work on your grammar, I had to read this question twice to get what you meant. That's not harsh, it's constructive.

Next, this player is completely wrong. If you attack his monster with a higher attack, your monster is destroyed and sent towards the graveyard. Any effects that include "destroyed by battle" are activated because it was... well... destroyed by battle despite who started the battle.

Suicide can be a useful move to get out of rough situations or just get things going faster on your side of the field. Mostly it is used for deck searchers such as Mystic Tomato.

  5. there is nothing true about that rule... if thats a rule then the official rulebook apearently doesnt have all the rules.... and ive never heard that rule in the time ive played which is since i was like 8 and im 13 now

p.s. that age thing is probly inaccurate all i realy know is i was real little when i started playing lol i just used 8 as a random number

  6. They lied.  That is a 100% fake rule.  Dark Necrofear's effect would still work fine.
