Yu gi oh VS duel masters...which is better and why....?

okay so i just got into duel masters like last week and i just gotta know....what happened to duel masters..i mean its a pretty decent card game ...but why was it not successfull in north america..the anime was horrible but u gotta admit the monsters are pretty sweet..like bolshack dragon...and the theme decks and stuff are cool.....dont get me wrong..yu gi oh is awesome too and there as to be something that keeps it goin but i just want to know......

1) why did duel masters fail in north america

2) which has cooler monsters....

3) which is more fun to play

4) what is this force that makes yu gi oh so great

5) which is ultimately better.....

like i'm really confused..there is basically nothing wrong with duel masters...its got cool monsters a great game set up and stuff...but its been gone for like 2 years now....what happened?.btw..some one gets a best answer...

I personally always played Yu-Gi-Oh...The reason Duel Masters failed is- everyone was afraid to buy it thinking they would have no one else to play it with....

yugioh was better, i never much liked duel monsters, it wasn't big, even though everyone played yugioh when i was a kid.

The yugioh generation is much better and the game play is easier to understand, the rareness of a card can be told and there are special limited editions.

In Duel Masters,a card game which went in and out in less than a year was a boring copy that was unoriginal and not as fun.

definitely yugioh..you can actualy see the rareness of the cards and yugioh has over 5000 monsters..and much much x 1000000000000 better

actually duel masters did not copy yugioh.

in fact it copies magic the gathering.

the only real difference in those to games is that DM uses sheilds to block direct attacks b/c one direct attack is auto game over no questions. its the rule

magic however you can take 20 damage before game end.

ultimately the best game isnt either in the question its actually magic if you go buy strategy its way more complex making it better for older players.

in fact i belive thats the real reason people arent allowed to buy the cards till there 13 b/c they would most likely not understand the games complexity.

bottom line Magic the gathering is the king of card games.

yugioh is second.
