  1. Black Luster Soldier the original cannot be summoned other than ritual summon. Tell your friend to read this, the rulebook, and if those dont convince him, look up 'yu-gi-oh card rulings' online and just seach for black luster soldier.

  2. 1. Black Luster Soldier CAN be special summoned from the graveyard but only if he was PROPERLY ritual summoned first. If Luster Soldier is summoned by Advanced Ritual Art, Earth Chant or Black Luster Ritual, than he may be special summoned by effects such as Monster Reborn, Premature Burial, etc.

    2. No, Swords of Revealing Light cannot be activated when your opponent declares an attack.

  3. Sorry Black luster soldier can't be brought back from the graveyard unless there was a card that could return ritual monster back to field... Or you use magic cards that will bring back summon ritual card and bring back the monster itself to your hand...

  4. no you cant activate swords when your opponent declares an attack...its not a quick play spell card.....so it can only be activated on your turn

and black luster says it can"only" be ritual summoned

    so no

you cannot use any card(other than black luster ritual) to summon black luster soldier

  5. if soldier was ritual summoned first, you can bring it back from the graveyard

swords can't be used if the opponent attacks. you'll have to activate it on your own turn
