Yu gi oh help?

my friend and i r having a debate he summoned his red eys darkness dragon and then i used trap hole to destroy it. then he used monster reborn and i used disappear to remove his red eayes darkness dragon from play but he said since he used monster reborn first he still gets his red eys darkness dragon bak.

is his red eyes still in play and on the field or is it removed from play?

First of all, Trap Hole does not destroy Special Summoned monsters.

Also, chains work in reverse order, so Disappear would work before Monster Reborn, removing the target from play.  Monster Reborn, unable to revive it's target cannot activate it's effect and is sent to the graveyard.

That's easy! Since you used trap hole which sends it to the graveyard, your friend cannot special summon it anymore because the effect says that it can only be special summoned if you tribute R Eyes B Dragon.

The activates in reverse, since you chained Disappear to his Monster Reborn, Red-Eyes is removed from play before it is revived and then Reborn simply goes to the grave because it's target isn't there anymore.

you cannot use trap hole that time. it does not work on special summons (which is how darkness dragon was summoned)

also, the text on red eyes darkness dragon says "this card cannot be special summoned except..." meaning that even if it were summoned correctly (in this case, tributing red-eyes black dragon), it cannot be special summoned from the graveyard. you can only summon darkness dragon from your hand

if your opponent activates monster reborn and you use disappear to remove the selected monster, then the monster will be removed. in a chain, the last card activated resolves first (disappear removes the selected monster in the graveyard), then monster reborn resolves but since the targeted monster is no longer in the graveyard, its effect disappears
