here's the situation.:

there are 2 monsters in face up attack position on my opponent's side of the field.

there is one giant rat face up on my side of the field.

if his first monster destroys my giant rat and i special summon another earth monster to the field right away, can his second monster (who hasn't attacked yet) still attack my newly special summoned monster on his same turn?

  1. yah they can cuzz the monster hasen't attacked yet and thair's a monster on your side of the feild!! ^_^

  2. yes, in that case you should summon another rat to get destroyed and then bring out the monster that you wanted

  3. Hello. The simple answer to your question is yes. The reason for this is because after the first monster attacks Giant Rat, its effect of Special Summoning a monster activates first, before your opponent's second attack. On the same note, this also applies to monsters that can attack more than once in the same turn. For example, if your opponent attacks Giant Rat with Asura Priest, the opponent would be able to attack whichever monster you summoned with Giant Rat's effect.

    Hope this answer helps!!!

  4. Yes

  5. He has to because effects come before monster attacks.

  6. yes that type of monsters like giant rats, nimble momongas, gravekeeper's spies, etc. are called seekers because they seek for other monsters like them and become really a good defence when your opponent has plenty of monsters so yes he can attack your new monster
