Yuck! Sports Physical!!

can soomeone explain what it is like? tips on not being embaressed when it comes to the "genitalia" examination???

I am a young nurse and a patient. As a nurse, I will tell you that there is nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of. I have witnessed many sports physicals being done for boys of all ages and trust me...us nurses have seen everything! Despite what people may think we don't 'compare' our patients or laugh at them or make fun of them in any way. Its just what we have to do...its all routine. As a patient on the otherhand, I hate when I have to get my rountine physicals done too!
