  1. you probably put a bowl in it you should get does bottles that you stick in the cage and they cant p**p init

    hope it helped

  2. make sure the bowl is not directly under a perch, buy a bottle

    much better

  3. I buy the hampster type bottles, but make sure the parakeets learn to drink from it.  I have one bird that won't.

  4. buy the rodent type bottels but make sure he knows how to use it

  5. i had the same problem and my mom bought a container that u hang in the cage that looks like the one u put the food on and put it far from the rest so they can fly to get there and they wot p**p as easy on it

  6. Well...I suggest you get a Water bottle.BUT make sure You put a perch in front of it So they can stand on it without any problems. You should get a Water Bottle that looks like this::http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js... This one i really recommend. You see they ONLY can stick there head inside of it And there is a perch. There is also this one::http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js... i really recommend this aswell...You see here is what happens you fill up the Water Bottle with water and there is a thing on the left hand side its like a oval...The water comes out there and your Parrot can drink water...But i suggest you get the first one because if there eyes hurt..they can just stick there head in.

HOPED I HELPED =] GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PARROTS.

  7. This may be pretty obvious, but make sure there are no enticing perches or hanging toys anywhere near the water holder.  You may also want to provide them with a "bath" - either a commercial one that fits out of the side of the cage, or a container on the floor of the cage where they splash aound and yes, p**p.  (If you go this route, use a shallow plastic tupperware dish and about 2-3" of room temperature water - only in warm weather and not near air conditioning vents - also, give your birds 3 days or so to get used to this "invasion" of their space before assuming they're never going to try it!)  Last resort, purchase a water dish with a covered plastic dome or a "dropper" water feeder.  Good luck!!
