Yugioh equip?

Question

Ok when you equip a spell card to a monster, does is still take up a space in the magic/trap zone? Or does it just go on top of the monster?

It takes a spot on the spell and trap zone. Also, since it appears that you are a new player, be aware of new cards that specify WHERE you place the card on the spell and trap zone. EXP, there is a trap card that desctroy one spell or trap if its in the same zone as a monster.
