  1. yes, it would

the deal is usually to future into overload fusion

  2. yes it would,

    heres a trick

    future fusion it

have cyber pheonix on the field and keep it alive for 2 turns

negates the destruction effect like with jinzo and call of the haunted.

  3. Overdragon will 9 times outta 10 when called out with Future Fusion.

The only way to keep in play without it dying to Future Fusion is to have Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror active on the field.

The mirror will negate the Dragon's effect clear your side of the field, but it's ATK and DEF values will remain as will its effect to attack multiple times. Those are continuous effects that cannot be negated by the mirror.

  4. Actually if you have a Cyber Phoenix on your side of the field when Future Fusion resolves and summons Chimeratec Overdragon, then Cyber Phoenix's effect will save the Chimeratec when it destroys everything else of your side of the field. Here's the link to the official Ruling.

  5. if chimeratech is summoned, one of its effects will activate, which is to send all other cards you control to the graveyard which includes future fusion (the card it was summoned from). future fusion's effect destroys the fusion monster summoned by its effect if it leaves the field. that's why people would usually use overload fusion right after, they remove all the machine monsters in their graveyard (most of which were there from future fusion) to summon chimeratech
