Yugioh scaling blister packs/boosters?

Hello, I am the Mortaltirant.

I have been into yugioh for about 8 years. Starting back in the days of metal raiders. I have alwayse struggled when trying to pull holo's, and finally i'm doing something about it since i'm above my shallow minded playing (standard beatdown decks) and getting into advanced dueling with a few of my friends. I have a pocket scale I purchased from Ebay.com for 7 bucks. 500X0.1 gram.

My question is, How can i get holo's super+ from "blister packs?" For you who don't know, a "blister pack" is whats commonly sold at walmart, target, and most toy stores.

I know how to do it from standard booster packs and i relize it would be about the same from a blister BUT the factors of glue and cardbord make me rather scepticle. I'm really wanting to do this with Tactical Evolution and Phantom darkness at the moment since i'm running a zombie deck.

All answers will be appreciated, any other methods other than scaling blisters will be helpful to.

  1. UDE uses 3 or 4 different cardboard stocks of different thicknesses to thwart people trying to scale blister packs. What I try to do is catigorize each of the blisters into different stacks. e.g. If you scale a few packs that are about 27.4 grams, and then get one that is around 29 or 30, chances are that the cardboard is different. Try to make stacks of different cardboard types so you don't get confused.

  2. Most of the time, walmart doesn't allow scaling. If you need some of the new packs, try some of the hobby stores in your area. As far as I know, the blister pack weight varies by the amount of glue used, so it would be near impossible to get a accurate weight.
