Yugioh summonings normal or tribute?

hi i have a question ok so if i have a monster and i tribute it for a monster can my opponent activate forced back against me?

and is battle damage the same as hitting directly can tornado wall reduce it to 0?

From my understanding a tribute summon counts as a normal summon, so yes the person could chain forced back.
