Yusuf Pathan recovering quickly from knee injury – Cricket News Update
India’s blazing all-rounder, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/YK-Pathan-c2815, is all set to return to action soon, as he is feeling a lot better these days after suffering an extensive knee injury.
Yusuf hurt his knee in a http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kumar-Shri-Ranjitsinhji-c71870 Trophy game, when he went for a full dive catch. His fitness issues ruled him out of the rest of the season, but the 29-year-old is hopeful of joining his mates in a little while, as he has started his training.
According to Yusuf, he is spending a lot time in the gym at the moment. Since he has been recovering well, the all-rounder is confident of resuming his cricket within the next few weeks.
“The team physio and doctor have charted out an extensive routine for me so I can get my knee back to full strength, and I expect it to take some time. I am awaiting news from the medical team about exactly what I have to do. Right now the knee is stiff
and there’s some pain, so I’m in for a rigorous period of rehabilitation,” Yusuf told Cricketnext.com.

“It was just bad luck that I got injured during the season. The injury is a setback for sure. These things happen in cricket, and I’ve just got to work that much harder to make a comeback,” shared the 29-year-old who was an integral part of India’s World
Cup winning team.
