Hours before http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 kicks off in Visakhapatnam today on September 8, Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has tweeted about his excitement at making a comeback to the sport after roughly 9 months away from cricket, due to treatment
for a lung tumour.
"I guess this wud be my biggest day aftr w cup final I'm really overwhelmed with the love and support of everyone who have send me wishes," Yuvraj tweeted. "On the field! I just expect to enjoy the moment and hopefully lot of awerness will spread thru youwecan

He also went on to thank the BCCI, the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, and the cancer society for facilitating his return to cricket.
The match marks Yuvraj’s first game for the national team since November 2011. The 30-year-old won the Player of the Tournament award in India’s 2011 http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Cup triumph, during which he claimed 15 scalps and scored 362 runs. However, the experience, for
Yuvraj, was interspersed with bouts of bad health, including nausea, breathing difficulties, and coughing up blood.
Late last year a tumour was detected in between his lungs, which was diagnosed as a rare germ cell cancer. He was flown to the United States for treatment in January this year, where he underwent 3 sessions of chemotherapy before doctors deemed his health
stable enough for him to return to India in April.
Following his return, the left-hander began training at the NCA from June onwards, with the intent to regain his fitness and make a comeback to the national team.
His efforts bore fruit when the national selectors, after a thorough study of his fitness reports from the NCA, named him in the 15-man squads for the 2-match T20I series against New Zealand (due to be played on September 8 and 11), and the ICC World Twenty20
in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 later this month.
