Yuvraj Singh has non-malignant tumour over his left lung – Cricket News Update

Shabnam said, “Reports and scans showed us that Yuvraj was dealing with something really serious. A golf-ball size lump was found over his left lung and doctors advised us to go in for more detailed scans.”
Yuvraj had been complaining of pain after the 2011 World Cup, early scans carried on the left-hander were quite alarming. As per initial reports, the tumour over his left lung was malignant.
However, after the tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 a detail scan was done and this time around more satisfactory results were obtained.
The mother of Indian superstar divulged that the cricketer is now free from the predicament and is on road to a speedy recovery.
Shabnam said, “When he returned from England... detailed scanning, and biopsy reports indicated that the tumour is non-malignant and non-threatening and can be treated through proper medication and therapy. In medical terms, Yuvraj
is now in a much better state and on his way to a full recovery.”
Shabnam clarified that the Yuvraj is well but he is still not match fit. Shabnam said that the stylish left-hander will take his time recuperating from the injury and he won’t rush into the side. Yuvraj will make sure that he is
match fit before presenting himself for selection.
“Now his entire focus is to re-gain his full fitness. He doesn't want to rush things, he wants to be hundred percent fit before resuming his cricket for India,” said the mother of the 29-year-old.
