Prolific India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has said that the forthcoming One Day International series against England, commencing in Rajkot on January 11, will provide the Men in Blue an opportunity to avenge the Test series loss at the hands of the same opposition late last year.

Yuvraj, who has been impressive in shorter formats of the game since returning to competitive cricket after having recovered from a rare germ-cell cancer, failed to make an impact in the first three Tests of the four-match series. He was dropped for the final five-day encounter against the Poms owing to his struggling form, both with bat and ball.
However, he came back strongly in the limited-overs format, playing match-winning roles in the T20 series against England and Pakistan.
Though Yuvraj failed to play big innings in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against Pakistan, he expressed satisfaction over his recent form and hoped to play match-winning role in the upcoming ODIs against the Poms.
"I am hitting the ball well and playing well in patches at the moment. I have been in good form in the T20s, hope to carry it forward and play longer innings in the series," the 31-year-old southpaw said.
