Yuvraj Singh promises to return to cricket “as soon as possible” – Cricket News Update
In his first press conference after returning from cancer treatment in the United States, flamboyant Indian batsman, Yuvraj Singh, promised fans that he would make a comeback as soon as possible, but his first priority was his health.
Speaking at the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yuvraj-Singh-c98364 Centre of Excellence in Pathways School, accompanied by his oncologist, Dr. Nitesh Rohatgi, the 30-year-old discussed his plans for returning to the sport.
“All my fans want me to come back soon, I am sure you people will understand that my body will take time. I will have to take care of my health. I will try to return as soon as possible, in the next two months. I have been through a very tough time,” he
said.
The left-hander was first diagnosed with the disease in October last year, when a tumor was discovered between his lungs. It was initially presumed to be benign, but later diagnosed as malignant. The all-rounder had been undergoing treatment at the Cancer
Research Institute in Boston, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Usa-c759 since early this year, and his recovery was being followed by everyone from the media and celebrities to fellow cricketers and fans.

in May this year.
Speaking about the tougher stages of his illness, Yuvraj admitted that it had been an intensely difficult experience for him, and he had fought to maintain a cheerful exterior, despite suffering, among other things, severe breathing problems.
Projecting an optimistic outlook, he expressed the intent to do something for cancer patients in the future.
“I hope I can inspire people to be strong and move on in life. It's not easy [to recover from cancer] but if I can do, others can fight it out [too]. In future I will definitely do something for the people.”
