The flamboyant Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh, is reported to be recuperating fast, nearing the end of his chemotherapy. The left-handed batsman is in Boston these days for the treatment of a rare germ cell cancer which has prevented him from playing competitive
cricket since last November.
The chemotherapy is a part of the medical recovery process that the youngster is undergoing to battle the rare form of cancer that according to doctors' report, is curable. Yuvraj is all set to fully recover after the current treatment finishes by March’s
end, and rehabilitation will start from April onwards.

Since making his international debut in 2000, the 30-year-old has amassed 8051 runs in 274 ODIs while scoring 13 centuries and 49 fifties. As a middle-order batsman and part-time bowler, he has been an invaluable asset for the Indian team.
Singh is famous for being the only batsman at international level to have hit 6 sixes in a single over when he thrashed Stuart Broad’s for a 36-run over during the Twenty20 World Cup 2008.
Since Yuvraj’s illness, his fans and followers have been eager to see him fully recovered and fit to play cricket. He has been in touch with his well wishers through Twitter and kept them updated about his condition and recovery process.
