The star Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh, has returned home after undergoing two and a half months of cancer treatment in America. He arrived at Delhi’s IGI airport in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 30-year-old all-rounder was warmly welcomed by his mother, along with a big crowd of his devoted fans, who came from different regions to receive their idol.
Yuvi was diagnosed with a rare germ-cell cancer called “Mediastinal seminoma”, located between his two lungs. He went through three sessions of Chemotherapy in Indianapolis, at the IU Simon Cancer Cente at Indiana University Medical Center.
Yuvraj was the Man of the Tournament of last year’s World Cup, which http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758. His subsequent stint with the national team was disrupted following the news of his tumour - forcing him to take time away from cricket. He however, was
not short of well-wishers, all of whom were truly behind the player during his dark days, where he fought against cancer. The left-handed batsman also acknowledged the support he got and responded actively via the social networking site, Twitter.

disease.
Upon Yuvi’s arrival, his mother briefly talked to the media and expressed her happiness after having her son back home.
"Very happy that he is back after recovering completely. It's as if we have won the World Cup all over again,” said Yuvi’s mother.
With his fans eagerly awaiting to see Yuvraj on the cricket field, his father cooled down talks of an imminent comeback for his son in the national team.
"Yuvi has fought a battle very difficult to cope up with. He`s very strong. Let him take his time to recover completely,” said http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yograjsingh-Bhagsingh-Bhundel-c98307, Yuvraj’s father.
The Indian all-rounder also made a brief appearance in front of the media, revealing that he will further talk about his future plans in the coming days. The veteran has missed the entire Australian tour and has been ruled out of the on-going fifth edition
of the Indian Premier League.
