Yuvraj Singh terms Sourav Ganguly's experience an asset for Pune Warriors – IPL News
Pune Warriors captain, Yuvraj Singh, welcomed Sourav Ganguly’s inclusion into the Indian Premier League and said that the former Indian skipper’s experience will work as an additional advantage for the Pune side.
Yuvraj further stated that Ganguly’s presence in the squad will also help him in leading the Warriors better in the ongoing competition. "Definitely he will bring in some experience. He's experienced and I will get help in captaining the team," Yuvraj said.

Heaping praise on Ganguly’s captaincy skills, Yuvraj, who made his international debut under Ganguly, admitted that he learnt a lot from his former captain.
"I share a very good rapport with Sourav. He was a big support for me when I started playing cricket, so I thought (I) stand to play the role vice versa," Yuvraj said
While, the Pune camp is happy to have Ganguly in their line-up, questions remain over former KKR skipper’s fitness for competitive cricket.
Responding the question about Ganguly’s match fitness, Yuvraj spelled out, “We have to see first if he is fit to play. He has not played for a long while. He has not played much cricket, so he needs to come in and show his fitness test. If he's fit we will
definitely pick him.”
Meanwhile, Yuvraj explained that the side had been lacking experience in the batting department and that’s why the franchise decided to pick up Ganguly.
