Yuvraj says leading IPL side is big responsibility – IPL news
The star Indian batsman, Yuvraj Singh, who played a vital role in India’s recent World Cup triumph, regarded leading a side in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as a huge responsibility.
Yuvraj will be shouldering his responsibility as Captain of new IPL entrants Pune Warriors in the imminent fourth edition of the league and the elegant all-rounder is quite excited to take up the challenge.
"I am looking forward to having an exciting time playing in the IPL. Responsibilities are more, no doubt", Yuvraj said. “We will give our best”, the 29-year old added.
Yuvraj had captained Kings XI Punjab in the first two editions of the Indian Premier League, but he played the third season under the leadership of Kumar Sangakkara for the same franchise.
Both Yuvraj and Sangakkara are no more part of Kings XI Punjab, owned by Indian film star, Preity Zinta.
Sangakkara is leading Deccan Chargers this season and Yuvraj will do the same job for Pune franchise.
Yuvraj showed a fantastic performance in the just-concluded World Cup, where he scored 362 runs with one century and four fifties and picked up 15 wickets as well. The classy left-hander got four ‘man of the match’ awards in the showpiece event. He also
won ‘man of the tournament’ title for his stunning all-round performance throughout the competition.
Pune Warriors and Indi Commandos are two new teams, which are included in season 4 of the IPL and with the addition of two new sides a new ten-team format has been created.
The Twenty20 league will commence, when Chennai Super Kings lock their horns with the Kolkata http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Knight-c71599 Riders in the first game of the season, on Friday. The Pune Warriors are scheduled to play their first season four match against Yuvraj’s previous team,

The cricket fans are expecting some very good cricket in the fourth season of IPL, where top players from all over globe will compete in a Twenty20 format of the game.
