Ok, I was supposed to read Z for Zachariah this summer but i kind of got caught up in the other books and really just hated how it started and asking my friends opinion on it, it sounded super disturbing.

But can someone give me a summary on it? Include plentyyy of details.

Or you could answer a few of these questions (I promise there not on the test, they are practice but i don't know what they are)

-Why has Ann been living alone for a year? What happened to her family?

-How did John Loomis become knowledgeable about radiation?

-What extra work did Mr. Loomis's arrival cause Ann?

-Why did Ann biuld a wall?

-Why did Ann decide to steal safe suit?

-How did ann fall into a trap by Mr. Loomis?

-Why didn't Ann have to shoot Faro?

-Why did Ann feel like her last meeting with Mr. Loomis didn't go the way she expected?

-Why ddo you tink Mr. Loomis told Ann that he saw birds to the west?

Thanks ahead of time!

  1. I read this book when I was a freshman in High School. I loved it. Now 7 years later, I still remember the book. (probably because I read it four times.

    1. Anne has been living alone because her family drove out of the valley and was killed in the nuclear destruction.

    2. John Loomis worked for a plastics company and he and his partner Edward developed the nuclear safe suit.

    3. Mr. Loomis bathed in a stream that was nuclear contaminated, and he got very sick. Anne came out of hiding and decided to help nurse him back to health.

    4. Anne built a wall to protect herself. Loomis tried to rape her, so she decided to try and live as neighbors in the valley, but ended up building the wall when he would not leave her alone.

    5. Anne kept having a dream about these children in another valley that needed her help. She wanted to go to them but couldn't without the help of the suit. After Loomis drove her into the woods, and tried to starve her, and kill her, she decided that it was time for her to leave the valley.

    6. Loomis traped anne when she hid in her cave in the woods. He took her dog and had the dog basically hunted her down.

    7. Anne didn't have to shood Faro because he got distracted and swam in the contaminated stream. He got sick and died the next day. He also shot her at one point. Before she moved into the cave.

    8. Mr. Loomis tried to convince her to stay with him. But she was very clear, that she wouldn't stay any longer, and be hunted like and animal or be made into a prisoner.

    9. I think Loomis told her about the birds because he felt remorse for the way that he treated her. If I remember correctly I think that she said that she would tell others about the valley, so that hopefully he wouldn't be alone for forever.

also wikipedia has a great summery of the book. You may find it very helpful. I would suggest reading the book if you ever had a chance. It is one of those ones that you start reading and you just want to know what happens next because it is so good.

  2. Had a life?

You can read this book in an afternoon.  Gee, three books, I guess you've done your reading till college.

Give up school, get a paperhat, or learn to do your own simple homework.

  3. He tried to rape her.

    The end.

Read the effing book, lazy. I finished it while I was getting my hair done.
