Z visa in china?

I am currently working in china with a f visa and want to convert to z visa. I am working as a technical writer and only have a 3 year college diploma from a Canadian College in the related field. Will they give me a visa without university in China? I already had my medical for the z visa process

No.  Not in China.  It is very likely you will have to either go to HK, or have your visa done at an agency in Canada.  Many schools can no longer process or convert F visa to Z visa, your best bet would be to have your school attempt to convert directly to the Residence Status.  

If you get a z isa, it is very likely someone at your school used photo shop to make a diploma for you.
