ZX6-R 01 fell down on its right side and now wont start =(?

i dropped my bike 2 days ago and it wouldnt start till today but once i got it going it just died agian and agian, it's really hard to get it started but once it gets going i have to keep the throttle going to keep it from dying, what could be wrong?? It has a carb

  1. possibly the bowl float in the carburator or   timming got knocked out of wack


  2. It might have a tip over sensor that needs to be reset.Some bike companies also call them bank angle sensors.

  4. Try pulling the spark plugs and cleaning them.  If engine oil ran past the piston rings or gasoline ran in through an open intake valve, it'll ground them out.

    I too was going to say the bank angle sensor, but if that, I wouldn't expect the bike to start at all.

    So did the bike just fall as in falling off the side stand or you lost your balance and dropped it?  Or did you go sliding down the road a half mile?  Knowing what happened could also shed some light on possible problems.

  5. Try cheking the cable to the ignition coil as it may have been jarred loose.
