Former champion Zab Judah believes Danny Garcia is a cool person and his father does all the trash-talking for him. During a recent press conference for their February 9 engagement, Danny Garcia’s father Angel Garcia did not leave any stone unturned to humiliate
Judah. According to Angel, Judah is a four-round fighter and Danny is going to knock him out.
Judah tried to keep his cool but the taunts got worse and he had to show his other side, which was an enraged fighter who stood up for himself and tried to settle it down right there. To cover Angel was Danny Garcia, who believes his father speaks only the
truth.
“I am not perfect. I make mistakes. I got mad,” said Judah initially while trying to keep his calm.
“Danny is a cool, calm fighter. His dad is the mouth. When you come into Brooklyn, you have to show some respect. Take your a*s whooping and head down I-95,” he added.
Judah currently stands with 42 wins, 7 losses and 29 knockouts while Garcia stands with 25 wins, 0 losses and 16 knockouts. Garcia will be defending his WBA, WBA and RING junior welterweight titles against Judah, who is now 35-year-old. Garcia stands as
the favourite for the fight, as he has defeated Briton fighter Amir Khan, who was successful in stopping Judah in the ring. In other words, Garcia stands as the dominating force for the February 9 showdown.
“Zab is a four-round fighter and Danny's going to knock him out in four rounds,” said Angel Garcia.
“It’s going to be another epic show. Come Feb. 9, I’m going to show you. I’m going to knock you out,” said Garcia who was now furious on Judah’s reaction towards his father.
Garcia is coming off three major wins of his career, over Erik Morales twice and once over Khan. He defeated Morales last year via unanimous decision and again this year via knockout. He defeated Amir Khan earlier this year via fourth round knockout to become
the WBA, RING and WBC unified champion.
Now, as Garcia puts it, things have heated up and probably it will be a fighter and more aggressive fight.
