Manchester City defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Zabaleta-c29022 has admitted that he doesn’t have any problems in being a part of a three man defence.
The Argentine full back was placed in the back three, in a 3-4-1-2 system, in the Community Shield game between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Manchester City.
It is believed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Micah-Richards-c25259 are suffering from injuries and will take a while to fully recover.
Surprisingly, the formation seemed to work out to an extent, as City beat Chelsea by three goals to two.
Zabaleta also feels rather happy with the fact that the new formation paid off and admitted that he sees the team deploying in a similar manner this coming season.
“It is another system and another option the manager has," the 27-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 international told reporters.

"We have been working with three at the back in pre-season and it worked well."
City will look to being their title defence on Sunday, as they play host to the newly promoted team, Southampton.

Despite the game seemingly being a rather easy one on paper, anything could happen in the match, given the uncertain nature of the Premier League.
With City suffering a number of injury problems in their back line, it is believed that the team is considering making a move for a few more players.
At the moment, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Agger-c9884 is said to be a prime target for the team, as they feel he is the ideal candidate to help boost the team.
He has plenty of experience in the Premier League and has gone on to prove his worth over the last couple of seasons with the Reds.
Currently, the only problem that stands in the way, is the transfer fee that the club are demanding for him.
City are willing to pay as much as fifteen million pounds, but Liverpool won’t even considering selling the defender for less than twenty five million pounds.
Nonetheless, it is now a wait to see if any defensive reinforcements are brought into the team, or if they are going to end up using a three man defence for the whole season.
