Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Zabaleta-c29022 expects the upcoming Premier League season to be a whole lot more difficult than the previous one.
The Blue side of Manchester went on to win the Premier League title last season, but they were only able to claim the title in the last minute of the season.
Following that dramatic win, the team claimed the league title after a wait, that lasted over forty years.
However, Zabaleta feels that this coming season, things won’t be as easy as they were last season.
The full back feels that almost every team has gone on to strengthen up and that they are looking stronger then they have in the past.
Having said that, he went on to confirm that the team’s primary focus was to retain the league title and that they were going to do just about anything to do so.
"The Premier League remains our main focus because that is the biggest prize in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749," he said in a recent interview.
"We know teams will make it even more difficult but we are determined to keep making history with Manchester City. Motivation won't be a problem.”
"We didn't have the best Champions League campaign and we want to do better this time. It takes time before you are established as a top European team and we will learn from our experiences last year.”
"I think Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham will challenge again. For the last three or four years, it's been City and those four sides and I can't see why that would change this season.”
The Argentine international feels that the team had a poor start at the start of the year, but thinks that if the team can avoid any dips in form this time around, they should be in contention to lift the league title this time around.
At the moment, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Manchester United all look like they could give the team run for their money.
However, despite their best efforts they are going to have to try and compete against a Cit squad that claimed the league title last season and have now gone on to gel together as a unit.
