Manchester City’s full back, and Argentine international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Zabaleta-c29022 has gone on to admit that the Manchester based club is being targeted by the other teams in the league, since everyone wants to beat the reigning champions to prove their worth.
Based on the fact that most are saving their best performance for when they face City, the club have had to face some tough competition in recent weeks, and they have often looked to be on the brink of losing.
However, despite them seemingly being down and out in a game, they almost always manage to come back and win it, or at least draw it in the end.
This past weekend, almost exactly the same thing happened to City once again. The team went on to go down by one goal to nil against Tottenham, and it seemed like the team was bound to end up losing in the game.
However, in the second half the Manchester based club turned things around, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero scored an equalizer for the team, which was followed by a very late match winning goal scored by Edin Dzeko.
As a result of the win, City are now sitting a mere two points behind Manchester United in the league table.
Despite the fact that City went on to win their game against Tottenham, Zabaleta feels that the team needs to put in a lot more effort in their coming fixtures, since things might not be so easy for them in the near future.
Zabaleta told reporters: "We have come a long way in the last four years and the expectations have changed.”
"It's normal that when you win the title, people will knock you at the first opportunity.”

"You are up there to be shot at and we take it all on the chin.”

"It happens at other clubs. It's just the way things are."
City will now need to build on the fact that they have not yet gone on to lose a single game this season, as they look to head into the coming fixtures full on confidence.
Nonetheless, it will ultimately be up to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 to try and get the best out of his team over the coming weeks.
