Manchester City’s defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Zabaleta-c29022 has gone on to state that the lead that Manchester United possess over his side is something doesn’t worry him and he hopes to see his side close in on the deficit and go on and win the league for the second season
on the run.
City are currently sitting a massive seven points behind Manchester United, which many feel has already gone on to decide the Premier League season at this point in time. However, the Argentine full back hasn’t given up hope just yet and feels that his side
have what it takes to bounce back and go on and win the league once again.
When talking about United, his side and the difference in points between the two teams, the defender is reported to have said: "We know that we're up against a rival in United who are in a very good moment"
"They have seven points more than us, but that's not much in this league. There's still a long way before the title is decided and there's still a margin to lose and recover. We hope United have a few games where they lose some points and we continue on this
route, taking three points all the time.”
"United are clear favourites, but that doesn't bother us. We stay away from all that stuff. We know that we can still fight and that last year we closed a bigger gap in a shorter space of time, and that means we can continue to have a bit of hope."
The defender then went on to take the time and talk about the red card that Kompany received in the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. The referee thought it was a very violent foul, but following the game, the ban on the player was lifted.
Zabaleta has insisted that it was never really a foul and that Kompany didn’t deserve to see a red.
"It wasn't a red card for me," Zabaleta added.
It is now up to City to keep fighting hard in their coming games and go on and try and win the league this season.
