Zach Randolph
He remains one of the strongest power forwards in the league and his rebounding average this season is the highest in his 11 year old NBA career. He also makes his presence felt on the offensive end of the court, has a healthy
scoring average, and makes a few blocks in every game; Randolph is one of the most complete players in this league.
He leads all in the double-double department this season, and is a one of the reasons the Memphis Grizzlies had such a fast start to the season. Although things have slowed down a bit but they remain a strong threat to all the
Western Conference teams.
He is in good health and the Grizzlies have a very threatening front line with him and Marc Gasol combining to produce a very strong physical presence on the court.
With the team chemistry all settled up this may very well be the year the Grizzlies will be looking to go deep in the playoffs, and Zach Randolph will be looking to carry them there.
Tim Duncan
Tim Duncan remains one of the most important players in the league and despite his aging legs he continues to perform on the next level for the San Antonio Spurs.
At 36 years of age, he continues to be a strong presence at either ends of the court and had one monstrous game recently where he scored 22 points grabbed 21 rebounds and made 6 blocks in the Spurs loss to the Utah Jazz at the
buzzer.
Gregg Popovich handles him well and keeps his minutes on the court to a limited level, In fact the Spurs were fined $ 250000 for resting their big three in a nationally televised game at the Miami Heat. He will be 37 by the time
playoffs kick off and will be looking to put the disappointment of losing to Thunder last time behind him as they march on towards the playoffs. And with him fully fit and playing on the level he is playing now, the Spurs remain one of the favourites for the
NBA championship this season.
