Zaheer Khan is resting to prepare himself for another hectic season ahead
India’s left arm fast bowler, Zaheer Khan, has said that he badly needed some rest to refresh his tired body after a hectic schedule of international cricket and the fourth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The left arm fast bowler has been the spearhead of India’s bowling attack in all the formats of the game since the last few years and seems to have raised his game at this stage of his career.
He played a huge role in India’s success in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 as he ended up as the highest wicket-taker of the tournament along with Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi.
Indian cricketers do not have much time for rest as some very important international tours are around the corner.

The left arm fast bowler, also known as ‘Zak’ amongst his teammates, said that it is imperative for him to take some rest so that he can prepare well for another hectic season upfront.
Zaheer said, "It's going to be a hectic season ahead. We are playing a lot of crucial tours abroad in the coming months. It's really important personally for me to make sure that I manage myself well fitness-wise".
He did not comment too much on the controversial injury of Gautam Gambhir and said that it is between the physiotherapist of Kolkata http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Knight-c71599 Riders and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
"It's a technical issue. The physios are better-placed to tackle these things. It's up to the board", he said.
