Zaheer Khan says match practice is necessary before Australia’s tour – Cricket News Update

According to him, he is concentrating to regain his form before the start of the series against Australia; therefore, he wants to participate in the domestic ranks of the country.  
"I have started bowling at the nets. I have some improvements in the past two weeks. I am feeling good, and I am only building up towards match fitness. I am preparing to get 100 percent match fit before thinking about the Australia tour. Earlier, the left-arm pacer was suffering from an ankle injury, which he picked up during the recently concluded Indian Premium League (IPL).

After recovering from the injury, he succeeded in finding a place in the national side for India’s tour to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, as Zaheer declared himself fully fit at that time.
However, during the 1st innings of the opening test of the 4-match series against England at Lord’s, the experienced pacer was injured again, after completing just 13.3 overs, taking 2 wickets for 18 runs.

"I have never been part of a full tour of Australia, so I want to play the full series this time around," the Maharashtra-born speedster added in same interview.
Zaheer has served the Men in Blue in 79 test matches, picking 273 wickets with and economy rate of 3.28; whereas, he has grabbed 273 wickets in 191 One Day Internationals.
The left-arm fast bowler has been invaluable for his national side with his recitals in every format of the game.  
Recently, he performed brilliantly during the ICC World Cup 2011, collecting 21 wickets in the tournament, which eventually helped the Men in Blue win the mega event after 28 years.
