Zaheer Khan to play the second Test at Durban
After the humiliating defeat against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 has confirmed that Zaheer Khan will be a part of the squad for the second match which will be played in Durban. The confirmation came from Dhoni after Zaheer bowled alongside
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 lost by an innings.
Dhoni is delighted to have Zaheer in the playing eleven in the second Test match but he is also worried about the form of Suresh Raina. Raina failed to impress with his bat in both the innings and was dismissed on the bowling of Jacques Kallis.
Dhoni is hopeful that Raina will be back in form soon. He stated, “You need a bit of experience to play under these conditions. What really happens is you tour once in four-five years. The last time he came here was in 2006, and he was not part of the side.
After that he played some ODIs and T20s, which is a completely different format. With the red ball, the approach changes, the mindset changes. You need a bit of time. It always helps. I think he will get back to form soon.”
Although Dhoni is confident of Raina’s form but he didn’t guarantee on him being a part of the playing eleven. He said that the decision regarding his selection would be made later.
On the other hand South Africa has added http://www.senore.com/Cricket/JP-Duminy-c1742 and Wayne Parnell to their squad for the second Test match. South Africa may like to continue with the winning combination but the only change expected in the team is Lonwabo Tsotsobe who was unable to take
any wicket in the first innings when the ball was seaming.
Graeme Smith passed some encouraging remarks for Tsotsobe saying, “He's inexperienced, he has to grow as a cricketer and we have to give him the tools. In the one-day format, he is developing already; it shows with his performances in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
He has only played three Test matches and he has a lot of developing to do. He is bowling behind an attack that has a lot of pace. I think the opposition may target him a little more and that'll provide him with the opportunity. He needs to be strong in his
own head and he'll get rewards.”
The second Test match will be played in Durban from the 26th of December and Dhoni would be hoping of a fight back from the team especially with the inclusion of Zaheer Khan.
