Zaheer Khan unperturbed about home ground pressure
A lot has been said about India’s propensity to handle the pressure of playing at home grounds in front of a ‘pumped up’ home crowd but India’s spearhead pace bowler, Zaheer Khan seems unperturbed.
“Pressure of expectations is always going to be there,” said the fast bowler. “It's good that we are playing in front of our home crowd.”
The 32-year-old pace bowler said that the ICC World Cup 2011 would be very special for the Indian side and many of the senior players will cherish the memories of mega event for years to come as this might be their last World Cup outing.
When asked to predict World Cup favourites, the Maharashtra left-armer refused to be part of prediction game ahead of the mega event commencing on 19 February in the Subcontinent.
“Personally speaking, I don't want to predict anything,” said the 32-year-old who will be playing his third, and most probably last World Cup tournament. “I just want to follow the process.”
The seamer however did opine that the strategy of playing more or less same bunch of players over the past few years would give India an edge over other teams.
“We have the same bunch of guys playing together and that is of great help in terms of building that team atmosphere in the dressing room and getting that momentum in the tournament,” explained the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Maharashtra-c811 pacer.

about picking up form at the right time and he felt confident about it.
