Zaka Ashraf assures http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohsin-Hasan-Khan-c77595 would not be left "jobless"
The chairman of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 Cricket Board, Zaka Ashraf on Friday gave an assurance that the successful interim coach of the Pakistan team, Mohsin Khan would not be left “jobless” even if the board decided to bring in someone else for the full time coaching
role.
Speaking to media reporters on Friday, Ashraf praised Mohsin’s contribution to the team and hinted that the former Pakistan cricketer might be moved to some other position on the appointment of a full time coach. He may be back on the selection committee
of the PCB, a position he held before his appointment as interim coach.
"We appreciate his contribution and we always praise his good work. Even if we decide to replace him as coach he will not be left jobless, as we will utilise his expertise in other assignments," said Ashraf.
Mohsin Khan, the former PCB chief selector, took over as the interim coach of the Pakistan team after http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Waqar-Younis-Maitla-c96193 stepped down from the coveted role in September last year citing health and family issues.
Khan’s tenure has been successfully as the Men in Green have not lost a single series under his guidance. After guiding the side to a comprehensive victory over http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 on
their own turf. Currently Pakistan is playing England in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 and they hold an invincible 2-0 lead over the world number one Test side with the third Test underway in Dubai.
Despite achieving tremendous results during his short stint, Mohsin is facing a real threat from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 series is likely to be Khan’s last assignment as the interim coach.
Mohsin is reportedly unhappy with the board over the coaching issue and did not meet the PCB chairman in Dubai, while he was there to cheer the team on. Also, he did not attend the official dinner hosted by Ashraf for the team.

"I don't think he is upset with us. He didn't come to the dinner because he was not feeling well and had informed us about this. As it is, any decision about who should be the coach is entirely up to the board chairman," he said.
