Zaka Ashraf rubbishes news of Indo-Pak series during Christmas break – Cricket News Update
The Pakistan Cricket Board chairman, Zaka Ashraf, has declined reports that he and his BCCI counterpart, N http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Srinivasan-c90829 have already finalized the schedule of a short India-Pakistan series at the end of this year.
There were news making rounds on Wednesday that the Board of Control for Cricket in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 (BCCI), in a meeting on Tuesday, discussed the possibility of creating a window for hosting Pakistan in a short one-day series in the Christmas and New Year period,
when http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c749 cricket team goes home for Christmas after the Test series, before it returns to India for the one-day leg of the tour.
"The BCCI haven't conveyed that to us,” is how the PCB chief reacted when reached for a comment on the possibility of Pakistan touring India during the Christmas break for a short limited overs series.

of reconciliation attempts from Pakistan cricket board.
In the wake of the 26/11 incident, the Men in Blue also pulled out of their scheduled tour of Pakistan in January 2009. As per ICC's Future Tour Program, Pakistan was scheduled to tour India in March-April this year but it could not happen as the BCCI failed
to get clearance from the Indian government.
“...that is now up to the BCCI, the ball is in their court. They have to think which slab is available, where there is a vacuum during which both of us can play. What we can play, what format … they have to take steps and let us know," said the PCB chairman
when asked about Pakistan’s availability for the bilateral series.
