Zamparini confirms Roma target Abel Hernandez is not for sale: Serie A news
Palermo President, Maurizio Zamparini, has told A.S Roma that striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Abel-Hernández-c3432, will not be leaving the club this summer.
Roma have been tracking Hernandez throughout the summer transfer window and are weighing up a move for him. Giallorossi manager, Luis Enrique, is a huge admirer of the Uruguayan international and desperately wants to sign him as
a replacement for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mirko-Vucinic-c26024. Roma were reportedly preparing a bid close to 15-million-pounds for the striker but Zamparini has confirmed that the Rosanero cannot afford to lose another superstar this season.
Highly rated midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082, was sold to French side, Paris Saint Germain, this summer for €43m and Zamparini believes that he is the only centre-forward available in their squad. The chief admitted that no offer can
tempt the striker with a move away from Stadio Renzo Barbera.
However, the Rosanero chief admitted that there is only one chance of the 21-year-old leaving the club and that is if a top quality replacement like Amauri arrives at the club.
“Hernandez is not for sale. He’s the only centre-forward that we have and we’re keeping a tight grip on him. Even if a big offer was tabled then we wouldn’t sell him. We’ve just received €43m for Pastore and we don’t need the money.”

Hernandez joined the Italian outfit from Penarol in 2009 and has scored 10 goals in 49 appearances thus far.
