Zamparini opens the door for Pastore to move to A.S Roma at the right price: Serie A news
Palermo president, Maurizio Zamparini, has confirmed that the highly rated playmaker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082, could move to A.S Roma if a right offer comes.
Pastore has been linked with a move to several top European clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona. However, the Rosanero have slapped a hefty price tag on the player and are asking for a fee in the region of €50m.
Zamparini reportedly rejected a 35-million-pounds bid from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in the January transfer window and has made it clear that he will not let his prized star leave for anything less than the asking price. Roma have recently been
linked with the player and their new manager, Luis Enrique, has reportedly named his as his top transfer target.
Pastore is considered as a talent for the future and has drawn comparisons with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 midfielder, Andres Iniesta. The 22-year-old is looking to move to a bigger club to develop himself as a world class midfielder.  Zamparini
has confirmed that he will allow the player to fulfil his ambitions if a right offer comes their way.
"The player is 90 per cent sure of leaving Palermo this summer. I hear from [Walter] Sabatini every two or three days, but we have never talked about Pastore,"
The Giallorossi are reportedly interested in doing a cash plus player swap deal which would see utility players, Stefano Okaka and Matteo Brighi, going the other way. However, Palermo are not interested in the players and would
prefer straight cash.
"We don't need midfielders, nor players who are currently at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 because they earn too much for our wage structure. We'll see, though. It all depends on the bid Roma make. With the right offer, Pastore could go to Roma."
The Argentine international joined Palermo from Huracan in 2009 and since then, he has become a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vitalô-c40903 member of the Italian outfit. His impressive performances for the club have handed him a call-up to the national team as well.
Pastore enjoyed a brilliant 2010/11 season and scored 14 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions throughout the campaign.
