Zanussi DW907 Dishwasher stops early in cycle

Question

Hi, my dishwasher starts up OK on the 65degC wash and fills with cold water. Then it starts washing as normal, but stops after about 2 minutes. It will sit there all day with just a barely audible hum coming from it and do nothing. If I click the timer around, it starts washing again. If I keep clicking it drains. I've checked the heater element (about 23 ohms) and that's fine. Can anybody give me a few pointers as to where to look next?Many thanks.
