Zap wedge good for wave riding and doing tricks?

i've had two boards before this one zap and a wooden one. i also want to be able to ride longer than 20 ft. i've heard that the wedge wasn't that great of a board but i didn't know if it was true.

zap wedge is a very good board and it is made for sand skimming and a beginner who wants to wants to start wave riding
