The Argentinean winger has not had the best of luck at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, but the arrival of Andrea Stramaccioni at the club has revived his career at San Siro.
Zarate came on a loan at the San Siro outfit from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 and bought along high expectations with the move, however, the striker never really came close to fulfilling all
the potential he had shown which persuaded Inter to snap up the player.
He always seemed to be trying too hard under Claudio Ranieri, and was continuing to make the wrong decision during games, which led to him being dropped on a number of occasions.
Even though Ranieri threw his support behind Zarate and told him to perform to his potential, the winger never regained the confidence he once had.
He was always struggling in matches, and that was the reason for him continuously being dropped from the side. He never seemed to have faith in his own abilities during
the tenure of Claudio Ranieri.
However, after the arrival of Stramaccioni as the Beneamata manager, things to have turned a new leaf for the striker and he has played exceptionally well. He is visibly
more confident on the more and looks to be more productive.
Zarate was giving an interview to the Inter Channel and during his interview he was quoted to have said that the coach restored his lost confidence, and further stated the
style of play Stramaccioni believes in. He was quoted to have said:
"By giving me the chance to play and telling me, 'Do what you think and what you feel is right, because I believe in your talents', I have regained my confidence. He likes
to attack. He wants forward players who can make a difference, and for players like me who are always looking to dribble, that's important."
The San Siro outfit has remained unbeaten under the coaching of Stramaccioni and are now six points behind Zarate’s parent club. Talking about their chances of qualifying
for Europe, he said:
"Now we're right there, closer, and we have two games where we must do our best our best. These are two very important and very difficult games but if we can win them
both we will be much closer to realising our objective.”
Inter Milan will be facing off Fiorentina in the week 34 fixture of the Serie A.
