Zea Mays?????

Question

what effects does green tea have on zea mays (a corn plant) growth? what about the effects of antioxidants on zea mays growth?

I have not read or heard of any experiments on corn with green tea or antioxidants. It does not seem that it would hurt the corn, and the plant will absorb what it needs from the soil.
